RITZVILLE, Wash. -

Washington State Patrol reports a Coeur d'Alene teenager is dead after a rollover crash on I-90 one mile east of Ritzville Friday night.

The crash happened 9:45 p.m. Troopers say 22-year-old Ivory J. Pellerin was driving eastbound on I-90 when she lost control while passing a semi. Pellerin's  1994 Toyota 4Runner left the road, Pellerin overcorrected and rolled the car into the median.

Pellerin's passenger, identified as 17-year-old Joseph B. Best, was partially ejected and died at the scene of the crash. Best was not wearing a seat belt.

Pellerin was injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factor in the wreck.
