SPOKANE, Wash. -

A run-of-the mill trip to River Park Square mall in downtown Spokane turned into an emotional reunion for one Spokane Valley mom over the weekend.

Lorraine Barthole sent us this video Sunday. In it, you can see Loraine walking into the mall when suddenly her uniformed son stands up from the bench where he's sitting. Lorraine stops dead in her tracks before giving her son a huge hug.

Lorraine tells us her son, Airman First Class Tyler Barthole just graduated from technical training school in Texas and has been away from home for six months. When Lorraine last spoke with him, he told her his orders were held up and he wouldn't be back home until July 11.

But it turns out A1C Barthole and his sister Aly Rozelle had planned the whole thing to surprise their mom.

Welcome home, A1C Barthole!

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Coeur d'Alene Police are investigating a reported school shooting threat at Coeur d'Alene High School. Police tell us that while they are still investigating whether the threat is credible, they do not believe the CHS that the note mentions is referring to Coeur d'Alene High School.
