Cleanup is underway after a car crashed through one of Spokane's most well-known businesses Tuesday morning.

It was just two weeks ago that we did a story on The Donut Parade, a staple in Spokane for nearly 50 years, and the community rallying to keep them in business. Tuesday morning, the business hit another set back when a car came crashing through their front door.

KHQ's Katie Chen says the car took out a stop light at the intersection of Hamilton and Indiana, hit a pedestrian, and then rammed into the building. The pedestrian's injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Both the driver and the pedestrian were taken to the hospital. Police say they believe the driver feel asleep and will most likely be cited.
