Spokane Valley Police Department Asks for Help Finding Suspects

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

The Spokane Valley Investigative Unit (SVIU) is asking for your help to identify two suspects believed to have stolen credit cards, purses and stereo systems from several cars that had been parked near the Centennial Trailhead parking area, located on Barker Road near Euclid, on June 25, 2016. The thieves broke into the locked cars, smashing windows and doors. 

The thieves also used the stolen cards to make purchases in nearby stores.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspects driving away from the Centennial Trailhead in "a faded black full sized 4 x 4 lifted pickup with exhaust stacks/pipes sticking up at the rear of the cab". Part of the license plate number was also visible: "K165".

To avoid something similar happening to you the Sheriff and the Police department recommends that you:

·         Lock your car and roll up the windows

·         Keep your valuables out of sight when leaving them in an unattended/parked vehicle

·         Lock any valuables in the trunk if possible or better yet, leave them at home

·         Remove important or sensitive documents from your car

·         Avoid parking in isolated or dark areas

The truck was being handled by 49-year-old Raul Topete Arreola and 48-year-old Aquileo Perez Pineda. Both men have been charged with three counts of trafficking meth.

    DENVER - A passenger aboard a Frontier Airlines flight was taken away in handcuffs last week after passengers say he grabbed two women during the flight and then peed on the seat in front of him.  The flight was heading from Denver to Charleston and witnesses say the unidentified man had been drinking heavily when he grabbed a woman seated next to him.
