SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -

Fourteen more barrels of abandoned motor oil were found in Spokane County Friday, bringing the total number to nearly four-dozen since Saturday.

Some of the barrels are empty, but the majority of them are filled with used motor or hydraulic oil.

According to the Spokane County Department of Ecology, the small amount of oil that did spill is not causing serious harm to the environment. They say the oil was contained to the soil surface and did not leak into any ground water.

The barrels have been safely moved to a compound where the oil can be properly disposed of.
