JACKSON, Wyo. -

One of the entrances to Yellowstone National Park has been closed, because of a fire burning in neighboring Grand Teton National Park.

Officials say the south entrance to Yellowstone has been closed in both directions, because of the Berry Fire which is burning in Grand Teton National Park, about 19 miles to the northwest.

The fire is threatening the area of highway between Leeks Marina and the South entrance, thus the road has been closed.

The fire was lightning caused and has already burned 6,800 acres, northwest of Jackson Lake. Campgrounds in the area have all been evacuated.

Grand Teton National Park posted this video of the fire on Facebook Wednesday.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.

In a statement, the White House said the deportation of Jakiv Palij, who lived in New York City, was carried out early Tuesday.    After World War II, Palij hid his involvement in the slaughter of Jews at the Trawniki camp in Nazi-occupied Poland and gained entry to the U.S. by claiming he was a farmer.
