What's next for this infamous messy house in Glenrose neighborhood?

Posted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. -

Neighbors in the Glenrose neighborhood have had to deal with an eyesore for the past seven years. It’s a messy house that’s in the area of Glenrose and 25th.

The property has three different buildings on it, and piles of stuff surround it. Back in 2014, a group of neighbors got together and filed a complaint against it. They were told there were a variety of code violations, including unlawful storage.

Neighbors say a month ago, the people who lived there were evicted. Records also show the house is foreclosed on. But the mess still remains.

“We were surprised that it was all still there. They kind of abandoned it,” says Brian, someone who lives in the area.

A bank owns the property now, and neighbors are just waiting for the entire place to get cleaned up. Neighbors suggest if you have issues yourself, file a complaint.

What's the first thing you would do if you had a pet translator and you could understand your dog or cat? I'd probably immediately let my cat know how sorry I am for stepping on her tail all those times. Recent advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning suggest the dream of communicating with your pets could become a reality.
