SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

Spokane Valley Sheriff's Investigative Unit Detectives are attempting to identify the armed robbery suspect in the above photos.

Detectives say that on November 29, 2016 deputies responded to an armed robbery call at the Spokane Valley Taco Time.

An employee told deputies she noticed the suspect standing at the counter. When she asked if she could help him, the suspect handed her a note telling her to stay calm and give him all of the money in the registers.

The employee told deputies that the suspect had his hand underneath his shirt and was pointing something resembling a gun.

Worried that the suspect did have a weapon, the employee opened the cash register and handed him the money.

Deputies describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 5'7-5'9 tall, heavyset and appeared to be between 40-50 years of age.

He was wearing a light blue, button down shirt, and a blue baseball hat with "Hurley" printed on the front.

If you have any information about this suspect, please call Detective Marc Melville at (509) 477-3325.

SPOKANE, Wash. - If there is anyone who knows their way around a KC-135 Stratotanker, it's Tech. Sgt. Shawn Roberge. Roberge is an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Section Chief; in other words, he fixes things. And since Roberge is constantly working on planes that were built in the 1950's, it's fair to say he stays busy. "The Air Force depends more and more on the 135's before the new tanker comes online," said Roberge.
