Tire slashers strike again, leave dozens stranded at Spokane apartment complex

Posted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. -

Vehicle after vehicle, row after row, the cars sitting on their rims. Samantha Wile was on her way to work when she noticed her flat tire.

“I just immediately turn around like oh okay this tires been low must of just died," said Samantha.

She went back to her apartment get her future husband and when both of them came back down together they noticed something else.

"I then see both sides flat and I'm like oh great and go around to the other side and all four of them had been slashed."

Samantha was one of the lucky ones - she was able to replace her slashed tires and still get to work relatively on time but nearly 30 other cars in the complex also had their tires slashed.

Brandon Beres just moved from Arizona and the tire slasher's got to both of his cars.

He says some of his neighbors can't afford to get new wheels.

“A lot of people you know they can't go buy new tires until they get their next check from the government or social security or whatever they don't have money to go buy a new tire to see some of my neighbors you know in tears literally in tears over what happened to them it's just sad," said Brandon.

They also broke into one of Brandon's cars. Today, sheriff volunteers were there dusting for prints .

"They hopefully got a pretty good print of that Honda that might be the one that puts them away," added Brandon.

Samantha too hopes that these tire slasher's are caught.

"Don't do it these people work hard for what they have."

If you have any information please call crime check.
