KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho -

The Post Falls Police Department is asking for your help finding a man they say tied up people while armed with a knife and stole valuable silver coins.

Officers say Brandon Cody Marlow is now wanted for Kidnapping, Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Grand Theft stemming from the incident that happened on Wednesday.

On the afternoon of October 11, 2017, Post Falls Police responded to a welfare check at a local residence. Upon arrival, officers located an elderly female tied up to a chair in her house. An elderly male had also been tied up, but he was able to break free and call 911. An investigation was conducted and evidence indicated that Marlow tied up the couple while armed with a knife, stole undisclosed property, and then stole their blue 2016 Toyota Highlander (Idaho K618613) and fled the scene. At present, his location is unknown.

Officers say Marlow is on felony probation and has criminal history for weapons possession. He is known to frequent the Coeur d'Alene and Sagle area and should be considered dangerous.

The public is asked to call 911 if they know his location and to forward tips to the Post Falls Police Department at www.postfallspolice.com. Do not attempt to apprehend Marlow yourself, as he is considered dangerous.
