Driver in critical condition after bad crash near Reardan

REARDAN, Wash. -

Update: We have now learned that one driver was airlifted with critical injuries after a crash near Reardan Wednesday evening. The other driver involved in the crash was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. We are working to get more details.

Previous coverage:

Police and emergency crews are on scene of a bad crash at the intersection of Coulee Hite Road and Wood Road near Reardan. 

Medics say two drivers were involved in the crash and both are in critical condition Wednesday evening. One driver had to be airlifted from the crash scene by Life Flight helicopter.

Fire crews report the intersection has been a problem in the past.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.

No additional information was immediately available. As we learn more we will update this story.

    KABUL - Afghan officials say a suicide bomber has targeted a gathering of Muslim religious scholars in Kabul, killing at least 40 people.    Public Health Ministry spokesman Wahid Majroh says another 60 people were wounded in the attack, which took place as Muslims around the world marked the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad.
