New recycling program from Hasbro turns your kids' old toys into flower pots and park benches

Posted: Updated:

Hasbro is offering parents a new option for getting rid of their child's unwanted toys: Recycling.

The toy company is launching a new recycling program that encourages parents to send back any "well-loved" toy or game that they will be recycled and used to build play spaces, flower pots, and park benches.

The new program is open to all Hasbro toys and games, including face-to-face games, plastic and electronic toys, action figures, dolls, plush and more.

The only exclusions are ride-on products, such as bikes and scooters, or baby products, like playpens and car seats.
