Motorcycle club hopes death of cyclist will bring awareness to drivers on the road

Posted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. -

Two women in two motorcycle crashes. Both accidents, just a day apart. Tracy Kunz is going to be okay, But Holly Anderson was killed "I just think a lot of things we need to pay attention to is not to be complacent with our riding or with our driving," said Ramona Herner.
Ramona Herner knows them both. She rode with them in a motorcycle club called "Ladies on the Loose. Ramona's asking everyone including motorcycle riders to be more aware "We need to be paying attention to everything that's going on around us because we don't have control over what other people are doing."
Trooper Jeff Sevigney with Washington State Patrol echo's Ramona's plea “Drivers should just anticipate that they should see more motorcycle traffic on the roadways. Really the bottom line is they have to take a few extra seconds at that stop sign the traffic light and make sure they check their blind spots when making lane changes."
It's a message that Josea Norris hopes everyone hears. She's Holly Anderson's daughter and lives in Florida.  Josea's trying to raise funds to see her mother one last time “They say it’s the intersection. It’s not the intersection. It’s people not paying attention. Especially to motorcyclists, You’ve got to pay attention to them. Just pay attention period," said Josea.
