$500K Bench Warrant Issued For Lori Isenberg After Missing 2nd Arraignment

Posted: Updated:
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -

A hearing that lasted less than five minutes, Lori Isenberg again was a no-show for her arraignment in Kootenai County district court. When asked by District Court Judge Scott Wayman where Lori Isenberg was, her attorney said he did not know.

The state asked that Isenberg's passports be suspended but the judge ultimately ruled that a $500,000 bench warrant be issued for Isenberg's arrest.
Isenberg is charged with grand theft and is accused of embezzeling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the North Idaho Housing Coalition.

Kerri Thoreson, the president of the housing coalition, was at the hearing today and says it was important to represent the organization.

"We have focused on our board that we are making sure that the one person, the bad deeds of one person don't destroy that is doing community," Thoreson said.

Lori Isenberg was the last person to see her husband, Larry, before he disappeared into the cold waters of Lake Coeur d'Alene in mid-February.
Larry's body would be found a month later in Lake Coeur d'Alene near Worley, miles away from where he was initally reported to have gone in.
Isenberg's autopsy has not been made public yet.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.

Back in July, Alex was adopted by a family, but less than a month later, he was dropped back off with a potentially life-threatening injury. Alex fell from a  two-story balcony, likely due to perception issues, and shattered both his front legs in the process.
