Missing dogs found in silo make appearance at Medical Lake Founder's Day celebrations

Posted: Updated:
MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. -

Zeus and Ziva, the two German Shepards who went missing for 22 days and were found in an old silo have officially been reunited with owner Jessica Donges for two months now. They had lost weight during their time in the silo, but now are completely healthy again.

"Journey-wise they've both been doing really good. So far we don't expect any further issues for them," Donges said

On Saturday, Zeus and Ziva were in Medical Lake joining in on the Founder's Day festivities. They participated in the parade and had the chance to meet many members of the community who originally helped look for them when they went missing.

In the afternoon, Ziva experienced her first Disc Dog competition. We're told that Zeus will catch the Frisbee but isn't too into bringing it back, so Ziva was the only one to compete. Donges expressed how nice it was to be invited to participate.

Ziva even got a few good catches in. Rodney Jamerson who helped set up the competition said she did great for a first timer.
