OGDEN, Utah—The Big Sky Conference announced its 2018-19 women's basketball schedule on Tuesday. Teams will begin conference play on December 29, culminating with the Big Sky Tournament Mar. 11-16 in Boise, Idaho.

The Big Sky moves to a 20-game conference schedule with the departure of North Dakota.  All 11 teams will play a home and away contest against each other.

Games are set for Thursday, Saturday and Monday tipoffs for the upcoming season. Times have not been announced.

Five of Idaho's first six Big Sky contests are out on the road. The conference season will open at in-state rival Idaho State on Dec. 29. The opening trip also includes Weber State (Dec. 31) and Eastern Washington (Jan. 3). Idaho returns home on Jan. 5 to take on Northern Colorado before heading back out on the road to face Montana State (Jan. 10) and Montana (Jan. 19).

The Vandals remaining home dates include: Sacramento State (Jan. 24), Portland State (Jan. 26), Montana (Feb. 7), Montana State (Feb. 9), Eastern Washington (Feb. 18), Northern Arizona (Feb. 21) Southern Utah (Feb. 23), Weber State (Mar. 7) and Idaho State (Mar. 9).

The conference tournament shifts to CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise, kicking off a three-year agreement with the conference.
