Rocky Reviewing QB Situation After Three Play in Opener

Posted: Updated:

Alls well that ends well. That's what players and coaches have to be thinking after the #20 Rocky Mountain College football team put on a defensive clinic in a 19-0 win over Carroll College in their season opener. That said, Rocky does have a decision to make in the coming weeks, but who knows if and when they'll make it.

Sophomore quarterback Drew Korf started the season opener versus Carroll, but was just the lead man in a carousel of quarterbacks to play for the Battlin' Bears. Korf handed off a 3-0 lead to redshirt freshman Nate Dick, who eventually was brought out for senior Jacob Bakken. None of the three played poorly, but neither stood out, leaving something for coach Petrino and his staff to evaluate as they prepare for their week two game versus MSU Northern.
