New information in bikini murder casePosted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Authorities investigating the strangulation death of a Clemson University student are providing more clues about her suspected killer.
The Greenville County, South Carolina, prosecutor has released surveillance photos of a man trying to use Tiffany Marie Souers' bank card six times at two cash machines, a few hours after the killing. Solicitor Bob Ariail says the man, who had covered most of his face with bandanas, was driving an older S-U-V.
The body of Souers, a 20-year-old junior from Missouri, was found a week ago in her apartment. A bikini top was around her neck. Ariail says the crime was sexually motivated. But he says tests so far do not indicate Souers was sexually assaulted.
Souers' driver's license was found today on the side of a road about six miles from Clemson.
