Snake River accident victims identifiedPosted: Updated:
MOOSE, Wyo. - Three people killed in a rafting accident on the Snake River in western Wyoming have been identified as a couple from South Carolina and a woman from Louisiana. Grand Teton National Park officials say that Friday's accident killed 63-year-old John Rizas and 58-year-old Elizabeth Rizas, of Beaufort, South Carolina. Also killed was 69-year-old Linda Clark, of Shreveport, Louisiana. Park officials say that ten others were rescued from the cold, swift water. Among them was the boatman from Grand Teton Lodge Company, a park concessionaire. The raft capsized about a mile north of Moose in the southern part of Grand Teton.
