SPOKANE, Wash. - The famed Orange County Choppers are making only four tour stops in 2006, and one of those stops will be in Spokane. Paul Sr., Paulie and Mikey Teutuls will roar into the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center July 28-30 as part of their OCC in America Tour.
Organizers believe they may draw more than 50,000 visitors. The Teutuls are the stars of one of the most popular cable television series in history. It features the group's experiences in making sleek custom motorcycles.
The show in Spokane will be similar to the TV show, featuring the entire cast: Vinnie, Rick, Cody, Jason, Nick and Christian. They, along with Paul Sr., Paulie and Mikey will build a bike on stage, offer "how-to" tips on building choppers, and show off their coveted theme bike collection.
Tickets to the show are $25 a day in advance, or $50 for a weekend pass. They are available only through www.gettix.net or by calling 1-866-443-8849. Weekend passes are available only in advance. If you decide to wait and buy tickets at the gate, they'll cost you $35 - and only daily tickets will be available. Part of the proceeds go to support the Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County.
The event is sponsored by KHQ, Northern Quest Casino, Yoke's Fresh Markets, Washington Trust Bank, the Spokane County Fair & Expo, the Spokane Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau, Citadel Broadcasting and Cue11.
