ON THE ISRAEL-LEBANON BORDER (AP) - Israeli officials say Hezbollah (hez-BUH'-lah) militants have fired at an Israeli military base, wounding at least one soldier. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks and troops have reportedly moved across the border and taken control of a Lebanese village. Hundreds of Israeli troops have been pushing in and out of Lebanon today, as part of a limited ground campaign to seek and destroy Hezbollah (hez-BUH'-lah) targets. Today's Israeli military action also includes the first strikes on Lebanon's Christian heartland. Israeli fighter bombers fired missiles at transmission towers in the central and northern Lebanese mountains. Phone links were cut in some areas and three television stations were knocked off the air.
