    More than a dozen different acts are scheduled to perform at Skyfest 2006 at Fairchild Air Force Base on July 29-30.  The schedule is listed below and subject to change.>>

FAIRCHILD AFB, Wash. - More than 100,000 people are expected to attend Skyfest 2006 at Fairchild Air Force Base on July 29-30.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the Air Force's premier flight demonstration team, is the main act.  The team of pilots fly F-16Cs - the Force's top fighter jet.  They will perform on both Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m*., doing a variety of aerial acrobatics.

Other shows include demonstrations by an F-117 Nighthawk, F-15 Eagle, the P-51 Mustang Heritage Flight, the Canadian Skyhawks parachute team, an A-10, the Cascade Warbird Squadron, a MiG-17, MK-3 Jet Provost and many more.  Jaquie Warda, from Spokane, will perform in her Pitts Special biplane.

Visitors will be able to see a variety of airplanes on the ground as well.
