Wife charged with murder of her pastor husband posts bondPosted: Updated:
SELMER, Tenn. (AP) -
The wife accused of gunning down her minister husband is now free on bond.
Mary Winkler had been locked up since late March on a murder charge. But today she was able to post the 750-thousand-dollar bond to get out of a Tennessee jail. She's required to live with friends in a town where she'll work at a dry cleaners and be supervised by state probation workers.
Winkler's lawyer says he will also work out a way for her to see her three young daughters, now living with relatives. Winkler allegedly killed her husband after they argued over money. She was arrested the next day in Alabama.

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - Panhandle Health District (PHD) and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) have issued a health advisory for Fernan Lake. PHD is urging the public to use caution when recreating in or near the water. Water quality monitoring confirmed the presence of cyanobacteria, commonly known as blue-green algae. Blue-green algal blooms have the potential to produce dangerous toxins in areas of the lake.>>
KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - Eastbound traffic on Interstate-90 is blocked as crews respond to a fast-moving brush fire near Kittitas. The fire is located seven miles east of Kittitas in the median and right shoulder at Mile Post 122. An alternate route is available for eastbound travelers at exit 115. An estimated time for reopening is not available at this time. Washington State DNR is sending engines, three airplanes and two choppers to the fire.>>
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - A judge has picked the jury for the trial of a man charged in the deaths of three people who died in a 2016 boat crash on Lake Coeur d'Alene, but the start has been delayed. Wednesday, both the prosecutors and the defense were hoping to begin opening arguments, but they are still tied up in motions that have delayed the start. The jury was selected in the case for Dennis Magner, but they were asked to leave while both sides continue their motions.>>
PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. - Sometimes the prey becomes the predator. In a battle between a grouper and a shark, you might be surprised who the victor was. A video out of Everglades City in Florida captured a 500-pound grouper eating a 3-foot reef shark in one bite near a fishing boat. The video was posted by Everglades Fishing Company last week. The shark was hooked on a fishing lane belly up in the water, and the fisherman was reeling it in when a shadow approached.>>
