2006 North Idaho Flu Shots

Kootenai County, Idaho - Panhandle Health District will offer flu shots for $22 starting October 13th. State-supplied flu vaccines for children will cost $5. Flu clinics located outside Panhandle Health District headquarters do not accept debit cards. The PHD recommends the vaccine for people of all ages.

Clinics are scheduled on the following dates at the following locations:

  • Oct. 13 - Spirit Lake Senior Center 1:30p - 3:30p
  • Oct. 26 - Real Life Chruch, Post Falls 9a - 4p
  • Oct. 27 - Methodist Church, Ramsey and Hanley, Coeur d'Alene 9a - 3p
  • Nov. 3 - Super 1, Hayden and IGA, Coeur d'Alene 8:30a - Noon
  • Nov. 13 - Rathdrum Senior Center and Post Falls Senior Center 9a - Noon
  • Nov.17 - Panhandle Health District 9p - 4p
  • Nov. 21 - Coeur d'Alene Senior Center 9:30a - 3:30p
  • Nov. 21 - Bayview Community Center 1p - 3:30p
  • Dec. 1 - Panhandle Health District 9a - 4p

    A 5-month-old infant found at a Seattle homeless encampment is in protective custody as police investigate child neglect. Seattle Police said Thursday on its blog that the child was removed in late May from an unsanctioned homeless encampment where people were reportedly using methamphetamine.

    DODSON, Mont. - Two people were injured in Montana Wednesday morning after swerving to avoid a kangaroo on the road.  Trooper Matt Finley with the Montana Highway Patrol said he thought it was a joke when he responded to the call, but when he arrived at about 4 a.m. he saw the kangaroo.  Trooper Finley said he learned there is a kangaroo farm west of Dodson.
