COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO--Steve Groene has sent KHQ an email commmending prosecutor Bill Douglas. The e-mail also informed KHQ of a lawsuit he plans to file against his ex-wife's family, and the family of her boyfriend, Mark Mckenzie.

At issue is a home. Both sides said the home was in Mckenzie's name, but disagree on the terms.

Groene said it was a temporary arrangement so re-modeling could be done; however, the Mckenzie family said Mark purchased the home and paid the bills..

Steve accused the Mckenzie family of stealing the home and not allowing him any access to personal belongings from Dylan or Shasta.
