Charles 'ET' Frederick joins former coach, AFL in Kansas City
Charles "ET" Frederick
SPOKANE, Wash. - Former Washington Husky and member of the championship Spokane Shock team Charles "ET" Frederick will join his former coach in the Arena League in Kansas City.
Frederick was named Spokane's "Ironman of the Year", bringing in 85 catches for 973 yards and 22 touchdowns last season. He added ten more touchdowns on the ground, three on defense and one on special teams. His 36 total touchdowns during the regular season placed him in the top ten in scoring in the league.
Frederick punctuated a highlight-filled regular season with an unforgettable playoff performance, catching the game-winning touchdown with 6 seconds remaining against Bakersfield, then jumpstarting a rout of Arkansas in the Conference Championship game by returning the opening kickoff 54 yards for a touchdown.
Frederick will join former Shock coach Chris Siegfried, who took a job as Offensive Coordinator for the Kansas City Brigade. Frederick becomes the third player in the franchise's one-year history to sign with an AFL team.
