CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) _ Jermaine O'Neal and Sarunas Jasikevicius (sah-ROO'-nuhs yah-sih-KEV'-ih-shuhs) each scored 20 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 106-to-99 season-opening win over the Bobcats in Charlotte.
Adam Morrison finished with 14 points and three rebounds in his N-B-A debut. The former Gonzaga star made 5-of-13 shots from the floor.
Stephen Jackson added 18 points for the Pacers, who pulled away in the fourth quarter. Emeka Okafor (eh-MEE'-kuh OH'-kuh-for) had 19 points, 13 boards and a team record-tying six blocks for Charlotte.
The Bobcats lost Gerald Wallace in the second quarter to dizziness, neck and back injuries after he hit his head on the floor following a flagrant foul by Danny Granger. Charlotte committed 22 turnovers.
