Police: attack on US Embassy is "terrorism"Posted: Updated:
ATHENS, Greece _ An explosion at the U-S Embassy in Athens, Greece, is now being called an "act of terrorism."
A senior police official says they don't know where the rocket was fired from other than street level. He says a shell exploded in a bathroom. The blast smashed glass in the front of the building near the U-S emblem of the embassy. But no injuries have been reported.
As a frequent site of protests, the U-S Embassy in Athens is heavily guarded but American officials have not been targeted in more than a decade.
