PULLMAN, Wash. - 20th-ranked Washington State didn't let down against Oregon State Thursday in Pullman.

Robbie Cowgill scored a career-high 18 points and 11 rebounds in the 70-55 victory over the Beavers in a Pac-10 game before 6,816 fans.

Kyle Weaver scored 12 points and Ivory Clark added 11 for Washington State. The Cougars improved their record to 17-3 and, 6-2 in the Pac-10.

Sasa Cuic had 17 points and Marcel Jones added 14 for Oregon State, which dropped to 1-7 in the Pac-10.

In what figures to be a much more competitive test, first-year coach Tony Bennett's Cougars will host No. 7 Oregon on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
