SPOKANE, Wash. - For the 7th straight season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs feature the WCC player of the year. The conference named Derek Raivio Co-Player of the Season.
Raivio led the league, scoring 18 points per game. He also led the nation in free throw percentage, making more than 95 percent of his shots from the line.
The senior from Vancouver, Washington shares the award with Santa Clara's Sean Denison.
Sophomore Jeremy Pargo also made the WCC's first team, while Senior Sean Mallon was an honorable mention. Matt Bouldin, from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, was a conference All-Freshman selection.
