Tony Snow's Cancer Has ReturnedPosted: Updated:
WHITE HOUSE _ White House spokesman Tony Snow's cancer has returned. The White House says surgery on Snow to remove a small growth revealed that he again has cancer. Two years ago, Snow had his colon removed and underwent six months of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with colon cancer. Last year, a small growth was found in his pelvic area, and it was removed yesterday. According to a spokeswoman, doctors determined that it was cancerous, and that the cancer had spread to his liver. Spokeswoman Dana Perino says Snow is resting comfortably after his surgery, and that he's vowing to aggressively fight the disease. The treatment has yet to be determined. In an emotional morning briefing with reporters, Perino said of Snow, "He said he's going to beat it again."
