Denver, CO - The two missing children from the Walla Walla area are now with their mother. The reunion happened late Thursday night in Denver. The three are scheduled to be back in Walla Walla around 4:30 p.m. Friday. You can see the reunion live on KHQ-TV and KHQ.com.

Two-year-old Lars Baugher and four-year-old Remi Baugher were found safe Thursday on a bus with their father John Baugher - the suspect in the five-day old Amber Alert - in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

For now Baugher is being held in the Clear Creek County Jail in Georgetown, Colorado. He could be arraigned as early as today on federal charges of flight to avoid prosecution. Baugher is also facing charges of custodial interference in Walla Walla. There's no timetable yet on when Baugher will be sent back to Walla Walla to face those charges.

Baugher had been wanted in Walla Walla since last weekend, when he failed to return the children to their mother. Their vehicle was found deserted Monday in Stevens County near Springdale.

SPOKANE, Wash. - The State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a life-changing resource for hundreds of disabled people in Spokane. Finding them jobs, counseling and places to live. A big part of the agency's mission is at a standstill after DVR cut ties with one of it's major contractors without warning. For twenty-seven years, Compass has been a one-stop shop for launching disabled and disadvantaged residents on a path to a better, independent life.
