Man accused of robbery and attempted rape expected in courtPosted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash.-A 21 year old Spokane man who was arrested for attempted rape of a 15-year-old girl is expected to appear in court Monday. The incident happened on April 15 while the girl was babysitting at a home in the Shadle Park area.
Detectives from the Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit booked Richard Allen Turner into jail on three felony charges: first-degree burglary, first-degree armed robbery, and attempted first-degree rape.
Turner's arrest followed an extensive week-long investigation by detectives and officers from several Spokane Police units as well as crime scene technicians from the Spokane County Sheriff's office.
Police believe Turner entered the home through an unsecured window.
