Moscow police to undergo trainingPosted: Updated:
MOSCOW, Idaho - Less than three weeks after losing one of their own in a gunmans ambush, Moscow, Idaho, police officers will undergo training that simulates similar events. Friday's training session was scheduled long before the May 19th shooting spree that left four people dead, including Officer Lee Newbill.
The departments patrol officers will use an abandoned University of Idaho fraternity house to run several scenarios, including an active shooter situation.
Friday will be the first time patrol officers will use paint-ball type bullets as they enter into different situations.
