Unidentified Green River Killer victimsPosted: Updated:
SEATTLE, Wash. - Detectives trying to identify three victims of the Green River killer released photos of clay facial reconstructions on Tuesday.
The sheriff's office has spent thousands of hours trying to identify the three women, but have been unsuccessful. Detectives say the women were found in the mid 1980's.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children made the facial reconstructions.
Detectives believe the women may have been from out of state.
In December 2003, Gary Ridgway pleaded guilty to killing 48 women, including the three who are unidentified. He is serving multiple life terms in prison.
The sheriff's office is asking anyone who recognizes these reconstructions call the King County Sheriff's Office at 206-296-7530.
