Two key injuries on Seahawks first day of training camp
KIRKLAND, Wash. - Seahawks safety Jordan Babineaux injured a knee on the first day of training camp and will miss the next three or four weeks.
He banged his right knee yesterday while leaping for a pass on wet grass at the Kirkland headquarters. Coach Mike Holmgren says Babineaux has a bone bruise.
Meanwhile, often-injured offensive lineman Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack injured a hamstring muscle. His practice already was limited because of knee surgery last spring. He's not expected to play until Seattle's fourth pre-season game.
