This year the fall primary moves to August 21st.   Several county, municipal and special district seats around the state are up for election.  

The final day for walk-in voter registrations for the primary election (limited to those who have never registered to vote in the state of Washington, is Monday, August 6th.

Approximately 156,000 ballots were mailed out for the primary election. 

In Spokane County, there are primaries in the City of Spokane, Spokane Valley, Cheney, as well as some area school districts.

Ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day, August 21st.  This is a mail in only election.
