Freeman High School Scotties

Location: South 14626 Jackson in Rockford, WA.

Enrollment: Approximently 303 students attend Freeman High School.

Kettle Falls High School Bulldogs

Location: 1275 Juniper Street in Kettle Falls, WA Stevens County.

Enrollment: Around 295 students attend Kettle Falls High School grades 9-12.

Colfax High School Bulldogs

Location: 1110 North Morton Street in Colfax, WA 60 miles south of Spokane, WA and 15 miles from Washington State University.

Enrollment: 270 students attend Colfax High School.

Details: Colfax High School was originally constructed in 1960. During the past four years, nine teams were named state academic champions for the 1A league.

Lakeside High School Eagles

Location: 5909 Highway 291 in Nine Mile Falls, WA 14 miles northeast of Spokane, WA. The school itself is perched on cliffs overlooking Lake Spokane.

Enrollment: About 565 students attend Lakeside High School.

Details: The class of 2006 was offered over $900,000 in scholarships. Around 43% of the students participate in school sports all year round. Lakeside also has students competing nationally in the Culinary Arts for the second year in a row.

Fall Coaches:

Football: Brian Dunn

Cross Country: Steve Olson leads Eagle cross country where the girls team finished as league and district champions, as well as 6th in the state 2006-2007. The boys team also finished as district chmpions and 3rd in the state.

Volleyball: Kara Moffatt is the head varsity coach where the girls finished 3rd in the state for the 2006-2007 school year.

Girls Soccer: Mark Lindsay

Jenkins (Chewelah) Senior High School Cougars

Location: 702 East Lincoln Ave. in Chewelah, WA.

Enrollment: Approximently 425 students attend Jenkins High School.

Details: Jenkins High School is a member of the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. It is recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by drastically improving the state assessment of student learning. Jenkins was the only school in the Pacific Northwest to achieve this honor.

Newport High School Grizzlies

Location: 1380 West 5th Street in Newport, WA.

Enrollment: Around 399 students attend Newport High School.

Details: Newport High School has its very own radio station, 91.5 KUBS FM, that recently recieved FCC approval to move their antenna and transmitter to Cooks Mountain for better coverage area.
