TULSA, Okla. - Tiger Woods won his second straight PGA Championship for his 13th major title and first this year. Woods fired a final-round 69 to win by two shots over Woody Austin. It's the fourth PGA title for Woods.
His 13 major titles moves Woods within five of the all-time mark held by Jack Nicklaus. The 30-year-old Woods is ahead of the pace of Nicklaus, who didn't win his 13th major until age 35.
Woods took command of the tournament Friday with a round of 63, tying the all-time low round in a major. He spent the weekend nursing a lead that ranged from two to five strokes.
Austin's 67 was good for second place, his best finish in a major. Ernie Els finished strong with a 66 to finish third. Arron Oberholser and John Senden tied for fourth
