ST. LOUIS- St. Louis Cardinal Rick Ankiel's wildly successful comeback to the majors as an outfielder after his pitching career was derailed by wildness and injuries.
Now Ankiel, who's hit nine home runs since being called up last month - is the latest baseball star to be linked to performance enhancing drugs.
The New York Daily News reports this morning that Ankiel received a year's supply of human growth hormone in 2004 from a Florida pharmacy.
Pharmacy records indicate Ankiel stopped receiving H-G-H shipments just before baseball banned the substance in 2005.
Currently there is no test that can detect H-G-H.
