POST FALLS, Idaho- The Post Falls Police Department is investigating a reported stabbing that took place during the early morning hours today. Officers responded to the area of Poleline Ave. and Mackenzie Dr., where an 18-year-old male victim reported that while walking home an unknown person stabbed him.
The victim said that a dark colored Honda passenger car pulled up next to him and the suspect exited the car and attacked him with a knife. The victim sustained an approximate four-inch cut on his upper left arm and was transported to Kootenai Medical Center where he was treated and released.
The suspect is unknown at this time, but sources say the stabbing could be related to an on-going dispute with the victim's ex-girlfriend.If you have any information about this stabbing you are urged to contact the Post Falls Police Department at 208-773-3517.

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a 39-year-old man for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. Last month, detectives received information from the Post Falls Police Department naming Jeffrey A. Christenot as a suspect in the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in 2015-2016.
