Arizona, Washington State desperate for first Pac-10 victory

TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona and Washington State are both desperate for their first Pac-10 win today as they take the field in Tucson.

Both teams are rebounding from losses to Top 10 opponents. The Wildcats are coming off a 45-27 loss at No. 6 California. Washington State lost to top-ranked Southern California 47-14.

The game features a showdown between the two leading passers inthe Pac-10.

Arizona junior Willie Tuitama leads the conference with 313.5 passing yards per game, partly because he has attempted 53 more passes than the next-closest quarterback. Washington State senior Alex Brink has passed for 278 yards per game, second in the league.
