TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State rallied in the second half and remained unbeaten last night as the Sun Devils beat the Washington Huskies, 44-20. Washington was ahead by four points at halftime. But the 14th-ranked Sun Devils stormed back behind a 76-yard touchdown run by Keegan Herring and a 57-yard touchdown run by Dimitri Nance.
Washington has now lost four straight, and has yet to beat a Pac-10 opponent.
Washington redshirt freshman quarterback Jake Locker completed 10-of-28 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown, but he also had an interception returned for a touchdown. Locker also ran 32 yards for a score.
Arizona State is the Pac-10's last unbeaten team after Number 2 California lost at home to Oregon State earlier Saturday.
Washington's next game will be Saturday at home against Oregon.
