PULLMAN, Wash. - The No. 8 ranked Washington State Cougars return to Pullman for their first conference game at home this season in a match-up with the struggling Oregon State Beavers.
Thursday's game, the first Cougar home game since December 28, will not be televised.
The Beavers come to Pullman Thursday evening with an overall record of 6-10. The team is so far 0-4 in conference play and is currently on a six-game losing streak. Their last win was Dec. 19 against Northern Colorado in Corvallis.
Washington State (14-1) will look to bounce back after a gut-checking loss to No. 5 UCLA last Saturday. The Cougars' 81-74 loss was their first of the season and convinced pollsters to drop the team four spots to No. 8.
WSU's Derrick Low continues to lead the team with 13.5 points per game. Fellow starters Aron Baynes and Kyle Weaver join Low in double digits with 11.8 and 11.2 points per game respectively.
