IDAHO - St. Louis Rams Head Coach Scott Linehan, a former Idaho quarterback, drafted Vandals outside linebacker David Vobora with the final pick in the NFL Draft, giving the senior the infamous label of "Mr. Irrelevant." Vobora was the 252nd overall pick in the 7th-round.
The Eugene, Oregon native racked up 282 tackles in his final two years with the Vandals, leading the Western Athletic Conference in that category each year. Vobora's 148 tackles in 2007 ranks second on Idaho's all-time single season list. He is a two-time All-WAC selection.
Vobora helped his draft status by competing in the East-West Shrine Game and the NFL Combine.
