"LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT" RENEWED FOR NEXT SEASON
LOS ANGELES (AP) - "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is alive for another season on USA. The Network has renewed the show for a 16-episode eighth year. That cuts the series from 22 episodes that were ordered for the seventh season. "Criminal Intent" originally aired on NBC, but the network decided that this season's schedule only had room for two of the "Law & Order" shows, so "Criminal Intent" was moved. Both "Law & Order" and spinoff "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will return to NBC next season.
