So close now, celebrate, have a ball
"Say hello to the Benjamin's eyes on us all
In what was the old dining room hall
Erin go Braugh toast and stand tall

Dutch Jake a name Spokane knew well
History will show in 1907
He built the old Coeur d'Alene Hotel.

If you've gone off track
Then I feel no pity
'Cause the clues should have led you
To "Lilac City"

If you're passing through the Valley
Keep going west
And soon you will reach
The end of your quest.

After crossing another border
Don't make a mistake
If you're going the right way
You should drive through Liberty Lake.

The correct direction
Is where the sun sets
Pass through a city - "Quarter Lane"
Where you can place a few bets.

If you haven't gotten it by now
I don't want to be mean
So I'll give you a hint
Head toward the Evergreen.

But now which way?
Is it east or west?
Just don't be like a pirate
Don't head for the Treasure chest.

From what I can tell you
The place you see
Is not known as the
Gem of the peaks.

Three specific states
now come to mind,
but one place in particular
you must find.

Driving across the border
is probably the best
because you should be heading toward
the Inland Northwest.

Home of the Columbia Brewery
good ol' Creston, B.C.,
but I'd head south
if you were me.
