Neighbors alert homeowner to garage fire on South Hill
SPOKANE, Wash. - Fire investigators began working Tuesday morning to determine what started a garage on fire on the 200 block of W. 25th Ave. overnight.  They are calling the fire suspicious.  Authorities say around 3:50 Tuesday morning, neighbors heard the crackle of the fire and walked over to the homeowner's house to wake him.

MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Authorities say a man drove into a security gate at the Moses Lake police parking lot, then asked to be jailed.

Oregon man killed in semi crash near Sandpoint
SANDPOINT, Idaho- An Oregon man was killed in a semi crash late Monday night when his loaded semi truck drifted to the right side of the road and hit a guardrail, overturned, then went 20 feet off an embankment.

    SANDPOINT, Idaho. First -  it was a robocall, now a threat, targetting a Sandpoint newspaper and one of its writers, has surfaced on YouTube. "Ben Olson is a cancer on wholesome North Idaho," the video states. "And cancers must be burned out." The 56-second video clip shows a picture of Co-owner and Publisher of the Sandpoint Reader, Ben Olson, next to a stack of the newspaper he writes for. The papers are doused in a clear liquid then lit on fire.
