Fans want Bruce Lee's home to be turned into museum
HONG KONG - Fans of the pioneering martial arts actor Bruce Lee are asking the Hong Kong government to buy his old home and turn it into a museum.
The fans say the government hasn't properly paid tribute to Lee whose characters defended the working class from oppressors.
Lee studied philosophy at the University of Washington and married in Seattle where he opened his first martial arts studio before starting his movie career. He died in 1973 at the age of 32 from a brain injury and is buried in Seattle.
His old home in Hong Kong is currently used as an hourly motel.
