New Research on Impact of Diabetes and Breast Cancer
Researchers have known there's a link between Diabetes and breast cancer -- yet the impact of exercise on that risk has not been thoroughly examined.
A study presented at the Department of Defense "Era of Hope" meeting looked at how exercise impacts the risk for breast cancer among Diabetic Hispanic women -- a group known for high rates of Diabetes and low levels of exercise.
They found those who exercised had a reduced risk for breast cancer that was linked to Diabetes.
Researchers say more studies are needed but a healthy exercise routine among Hispance women can be a benefit in many ways.
